Veterinary Acupuncture - Evening Meeting

Veterinary Acupuncture - Myth or Modern Medicine? There are so many alternative therapies available it can be difficult to know which are effective. Leslie Cox, senior partner at Toft Lodge and currently President of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists, will be giving a talk for pet owners on acupuncture. The talk will be held in the Galtres Centre in Easingwold, on Wednesday 14th April at 7.30pm. Tea and coffee will be served after the meeting. Is your pet safe from Rat Poison?

One of the most common poisonings we see in veterinary practice is due to accidental ingestion of ratbait. Dogs are particularly at risk, and will often actively seek out the poison. Free Tear Tests for Dry eye in February

Do you own a Westie? Or a Cavalier, a Cocker or a Shih Tzu?

The above breeds are the most often affected with Dry Eye, technically known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS). This condition is one of the commonest eye problems we see in dogs, and is often behind recurrent eye infections. During the whole of February we are offering free Schirmer tear tests to all dogs. New Lungworm Threat
