PETS – EUTHANASIA AND CREMATION SERVICES

Sadly, the day will come when we have to say goodbye to our beloved pets. This is never an easy time for any pet owner, but we will do our best to help you through. Our staff are always available to discuss the various options with you, and help you to come to the best decision for you and your pet.

Euthanasia – although we would all like our pets to slip away from us during their sleep, more than half of all pets are euthanased to prevent them from unnecessary suffering. Euthanasia is a very quick and peaceful procedure, and can be carried out at the surgery or at your home.

Bereavement – We understand that pets are very special, and that feelings of loss can be deeply felt. Our staff are available to help come to terms with this loss, and we can put you in touch with The Befrienders Service by telephone which offers help and a sympathetic ear for recently bereaved pet owners.

Cremation services – all pets left with us at Toft Lodge will be cremated by The Pet Crematorium who offer a professional and caring service. Communal or individual cremations are available, with a range of memorials and caskets.
